I've gotten very frustrated with the forum I have in the main site, so I've installed a stand alone forum.  I could have it display within the main site, but that would just slow it down, so when you go to the forum it will look like a new site.  I have not yet themed it, so it won't match the main site right away.

  The good news is that I integrated the login module, so as long as you are logged in to the main site, you are automatically logged into the forums.  There are a lot of setting I have to go through, so many features might be disabled at first.  

  You will notice new blocks on the main site (only if you are logged in), these will show any private messages you may have from the forum, new posts and topics, and who is online.

  The old forums will not be ported over since there weren't that many posts.

 With Kel's help last night we finished the last of the plywood face, used some thin panels to cover the viewing deck to keep the heat in, and fired up the furnace. We just happened to have the right size door laying around so we installed that as well.

I'm trying to get a trip together for this weekend to scout out some of the potential arenas for Armageddon 2010.

I'll be leaving on Friday after work and probably come back Sunday afternoon.  Anyone who is interested, let me know.

I just heard that starting in 2010 NAC is open to all teams, no tryouts required.
For those of you who don't know, NAC is the Laser Quest Nationals.  It is by far the largest laser tag competition in the US.  Traditionaly you had to attend tryouts and qualify to get on a team, but this year it's open to anyone who can get a 9-person team together.

Once Jester's Court closed we let the domain expire, and then someone grabbed it just to resell it.  But when the reseller let it go, I decided I had to have it. 
The big news is that we still have the equipment, and the old owner of Jester's now owns Skyway Drive-in off of Parkman Rd.  We are currently in the process of re-building the Laser Storm arena there.
